This
morning I woke up and meditated around 8am. I do this to quiet the
mind and become inspired. I decided to put on the movie:“The
Adam's Family," drink some coffee and play with software
called: Gimp. Gimp is the alternative to Adobe Photo Shop. I had a
dream I was working with Gimp, which allows you to create digital art
& edit photos. Recently, my friend installed it on a Linux
system (Ubuntu system), I'm ready to create with Gimp, but first try I was intimated by it, I put using
it on the back burner. Until,]I watched tutorials about it the other day-- so I wouldn't be scared to use it, I could see it as a learning experience that makes me a “self-taught artist.” And Gimp is free software, but
it has some glitches that's clear; for example it froze on me.
I promised myself if I get my mouse back from this glitch on Gimp,
than I'll blog about it. Now, lets see if I play with it again. Maybe I will whip something up real quick and share it. That
be cool, and here it is I challenged my fears and revisited
Gimp to create some digital art (it's the black and white picture above.)This may sound techy
if you havn't heard of it; it's just free software for digital artists.
